Design Elements

Ajouré design - or openwork pierced designs - are patterns cut out of metal with a tiny jeweler’s saw. The pieces are hollow construction and lightweight. Let’s add some extra cool elements to your necklace!

Metals I work with: Sterling Silver, 14K Rose Gold, 18K Yellow Gold, 18k White Gold and Palladium.

Common gemstones used my designs: Rose Cut Diamonds, Emerald, Ruby, Sapphire, Aquamarine, Tourmilated Quartz, Green Amethyst, Copper Turquoise, Lapis, Tanzanite and more.

Do you have sentimental stones you want to incorporate? I can do that!

The gemstones and coral will be bezel set. My custom bezels are handmade specifically for each individual stone. The key features of my bezels are the hand cut notches that are placed asymmetrically into the bezel as an added signature detail. The stone is completely surrounded on all sides by metal. It’s the most secure and stable setting, great for everyday wear.
