Ajouré Design Earrings
Ajouré or openwork is a technique that adds decoration by creating holes and piercings out a design in metal. It’s a slow process where each shape is cut out by hand with a thin jewelers saw.
When I make Ajouré Earrings, I first create a hollow domed shape in either sterling silver or gold. This allows a larger earring to be light weight.
The cut out designs can be completely customizable, as they are hand cut not laser cut or mass produced.
You can leave the design up to me, or sketch a line drawing and I will mimic it in the metal. ;)

Earrings can be designed as simple or as extravagant as you desire.
Do you prefer an ear wire, or post?
Options to be all oxidized silver, all gold, or a mix of oxidized sterling silver with 18k gold details.
