Heptagonal Shaped Vintage Coral Pendant with Emerald and Amethyst
Emerald and amethyst are a vibrant and magical combo mixed with the texture and details of white coral.
The coral is carved and shaped with traditional lapidary equipment into this powerful heptagonal shape. I work with vintage coral collected years ago, giving it a new life.
Emerald encourages growth, reflection, peace and balance. It’s the top of the pendant, the anchor keeping us grounded. While the amethyst, a protective stone with strong healing and cleansing powers is set on top of the coral.
Design:
Both gemstones and the coral are bezel set. My custom bezels are handmade specifically for each individual stone. The key features of my bezels are the hand cut notches that are placed asymmetrically into the bezel as an added signature detail. The stone is completely surrounded on all sides by metal. It’s the most secure and stable setting.
