Design:
This necklace is made from sterling silver and 18k yellow gold.
The metalwork on this necklace has hollow form elements. This allows a larger forms to be light weight. 18k gold pieces are soldered onto the silver forms to compliment and enhance the shapes.
The lapis is bezel set. My custom bezels are handmade specifically for each individual stone. The key features of my bezels are the hand cut notches that are placed asymmetrically into the bezel as an added signature detail. The stone is completely surrounded on all sides by metal. It’s the most secure and stable setting.
Oxidized Sterling Silver, 18k Gold.
Lapis Unit Necklace is adjustable from 15.5” to 19”. Can be made longer on request for no additional charge.
The Lapis Stone measures 1.25” L x .8125” W x .125”
