Large Coral with Blue Topaz Necklace
This is the largest coral piece I've worked with. The coral texture is strikingly beautifully and powerful contrasted by the dark oxidized silver. I've reworked and simplified this necklace, really loving the results. If you're looking for a statement piece, and chunk of history, this is for you.

This necklace is made from oxidized sterling silver.
I work with vintage coral collected years ago, giving it a new life. The coral is hand cut with traditional lapidary equipment.
The coral is bezel set. My custom bezels are handmade specifically for each individual stone. The key features of my bezels are the hand cut notches that are placed asymmetrically into the bezel as an added signature detail. The stone is completely surrounded on all sides by metal.
The blue topaz is bezel set and then tube riveted through the coral and silver back. It appears to be floating, but it's very secure.
